Martin Rosenberg

I'm Brooklyn, New York born. I lived for the moments playing baseball and basketball. My passions included stamp collecting and raising tropical fish. Managing retail stores was an adrenalin fix for me. I saw my friends disappearing to university towns far away. Why not head west? My gut said go for it and I headed to Arizona State University in Tempe.
My interests exploded to studying different cultures through Anthropology and Archaeology. I became conscious of a whole new world.

I was destined to return to NY. I dove headlong into the next five years at the American Museum Of Natural History lecturing and writing for a popular Encyclopedia. Marriage to a college sweetheart opened a new chapter in my life. My photography skills paid off working for one of the City's top guys. What a joy exchanging views with New Yorkers by teaching one night a week at New York University. The universe seemed to provide wonderful surprises. What was the next fork in the road?

I was browsing the NY Times while perched on a glacial boulder in Central Park. I still can't account for why I called an employment agency and made an appointment. I loved my Museum work, but missed business too. My new brilliant analytically minded colleagues at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, liked sharing stories… especially my exploits in caves, cliff dwellings and Pueblos. My years working closely with experts exposed me to the intricacies and inner workings of companies, global financial markets, wealth management, ethical standards, legal systems, brands and marketing, and collaboration and teamwork. This insight and wisdom is a gift no University could provide.

Now returning decades later to the Southwest...free of former careers, I went headlong into writing, film making, art collecting, creating sacred geometric designs, and discovering spiritual exploration.

A fresh awakening to nature, gratitude and joy. The journey continues.
